THE UNITED STATES CHAPTER — ARRIVING 2026

04.5GOALS & MEASURES

Measure before we promise.

Apple Shoes is building a practical measurement framework for products, packaging, suppliers, operations, and circular services.

Important: No percentage or impact figure will be published as an achieved result until the underlying scope, method, period, and evidence have been reviewed.

BASELINE

01

First, know where we stand.

The first stage is to define the products, markets, facilities, and suppliers within scope, then collect information that is consistent enough to support decisions.

  • Map priority materials and product components
  • Record packaging formats and weights
  • Build supplier and facility information
  • Identify repair, return, and product-life signals
  • Document data limits and assumptions

WORKING MEASURES

02

Track decisions that teams can improve.

Measures should connect to design and operational choices, not exist only for reporting. The initial scorecard will prioritize coverage, durability, preferred-material adoption, packaging reduction, supplier engagement, and care or repair participation.

2030 DIRECTION

03

A direction, not an unsupported claim.

Apple Shoes intends to improve material traceability, reduce avoidable packaging, strengthen responsible-supplier expectations, extend useful product life, and publish evidence-based progress through 2030. Numeric targets will be added only after a reliable baseline is available.
